As those lucky enough to be on our Christmas card list will know by now, we love to have a bit of fun with our festive greetings. For our 2013 effort, we invited our friends to knit their own ‘Christmas Jumper’ tree decoration and send us a photo. The prize? An actual version of your jumper!
So we popped this card (along with a nice long bit of wool, of course) in the post and awaited the results with baited breath.
And so far they haven’t disappointed – oh no! Check this amazing creation out, sent in by Verity, girlfriend of our designer Chris. A real contender for first ‘plaice’.
The guys and girls at our charity partners Teens & Toddlers stayed nicely on-brand with their design…
…while our pals at Team Togs went all geometric with this bad boy. Nice.
The best of the rest so far are all a family affair. Here’s Guy T’s dad John with a beautifully simple pattern, using every hole to great effect. Loving the selfie-style pic, too…
…whilst our man Harry got the whole family involved. This intricate thing of beauty was woven by his mum.
And how about the contrasting colours here, from his better half Tess? She’s gone even further leftfield too, by plumping for the reverse side of the jumper. A truly stellar effort.
Thanks to everyone who’s sent in their Flourish Christmas jumpers thus far. But it’s not over yet! If you got a card, you can still enter until the end of January so get your knitted creation over to us for the chance to win your design as an actual Christmas jumper.
